  • Clearer daily overview and task details

Done is directly visible. Tasks open the same details from Home, Planning, search and the widget. Filters, contextual dictation, a fixed Kitchen Display entry and sync explanations simplify daily use.

In the manual:Your day, tasks and routinesSync, help and your data

  • Tasks and events together in Planning

Planning shows tasks and events directly. Edit and delete supported single events in their original Zanuli, Google or iCloud calendar, with checks for intervening changes.

In the manual:Your day, tasks and routinesEdit and delete events

  • Find tasks and manage routines

Search also finds retained completed tasks within the selected group. Planning → Routines and maintenance brings together repetition, maintenance and rotations. Open the corresponding routine from a task.

In the manual:Search tasks and routinesYour day, tasks and routines

  • Temporary rotation absence

Choose an absent person, replacement and period. Review and confirm exactly which turns change. The regular order resumes after the end date; past completions and points remain.

In the manual:Temporary absence from a rotation

  • Meals with groceries

Plan a meal per day with ingredients and quantities. Choose which ingredients go to shopping; an identical open name and quantity is not added twice.

1.3.7 ·

Available in the App Store

  • Number pad and clear week arrows

From build 202610171300, Manage opens its own panel with six dots, large number buttons and a delete button. Then tap Unlock. Without a correct code confirmed in time, the panel closes ten seconds after opening, even with digits entered. Above the day columns, larger Previous week and Next week arrow buttons appear alongside the full week range and This week.

In the manual:Manage and dim the kitchen displayCalendar and weekly planner

  • Visible management code and direct entry

From build 202610171200, a newly set management code remains visible in the regular app on the phone used to set it. An existing code that was not saved locally needs to be set again once. Manage on the kitchen display opens code entry directly. Without a correct code confirmed in time, the window closes after ten seconds, even if digits have been entered.

In the manual:Manage and dim the kitchen display

  • Clearer day columns on the kitchen display

From build 202610171200, the kitchen display’s Weekly planner has clearly separated day columns, full day names and larger dates. Today is highlighted in green and weekends have a distinct background. Day headings stay visible while scrolling vertically; tap an appointment or task for details.

In the manual:Calendar and weekly planner

  • Pair again after revoking access

From build 202610171100, an online tablet returns to the start screen when its pairing is revoked, instead of staying on a red cloud. You can then show a new QR code from Set up kitchen display.

In the manual:Pairing a kitchen display

  • Pair using the QR code on the tablet

From build 202610171000, the tablet shows the QR code. Scan it with your signed-in phone, choose the group and confirm. The tablet then opens as a kitchen display automatically. Update both devices for this flow. Existing pairings keep working; older phone codes still work under Use an older pairing code.

In the manual:Pairing a kitchen display

  • Kitchen display invitation

From build 202610170900, group owners without a paired display get an invitation with Pair your display now and Later. The wording varies; on the same device, each account sees it at most once every seven days. An existing pairing or failed connection check prevents the invitation.

In the manual:Pairing a kitchen display

  • Kitchen display dimming and week columns

Dimming is restored, with extra night dimming from 01:00 to 06:00 by default. Set a management code in the regular app, then adjust brightness and times under Manage. Kitchen displays in the same group share these settings. Only the kitchen display gets a weekly planner with day columns.

1.3.6 ·

Available in the App Store

  • Add maintenance task

From Zanuli 1.3.6, use + on Home or Planning to open Add maintenance task directly. Choose a task, edit its name and set a date, recurrence and optional contact details. Only selected tasks are added after confirmation. Choose Custom task to create your own maintenance task from a blank form. Maintenance task names are shown in full, with switches consistently on the right; settings appear after selection. Add a website, phone number and email address under Contact details, plus optional Comments. Tap anywhere on the Contact details row to open the fields; the date has its own row.

In the manual:Example tasks and maintenance starters

  • Create a task from an appointment

From Zanuli 1.3.6. Open an appointment in the Weekly planner and tap Create task. Its name is prefilled; change it if needed and confirm with Create task. The task appears in Planning, where you can assign and complete it. Retrying does not create a duplicate. A regular, writable external appointment remains linked to the same task. Name and time changes sync both ways; a confirmed external deletion removes only the open occurrence. Completed history, points and the remaining recurrence are preserved. Conflicting simultaneous changes show a conflict. Connection or permission errors never remove tasks. A Zanuli appointment, invitation, recurring external appointment or read-only calendar creates an independent task. The form explains this; the original appointment does not change with it. Disconnecting leaves appointments with the provider. Private notes and contact details are not copied.

In the manual:Tasks and maintenance in an external calendar

  • Tasks and maintenance in your external calendar

From Zanuli 1.3.6, tasks and maintenance offer Also place in external calendar, visible only with a connected, shared external calendar. Choose all day or a time window. Moving and completing update the same event; actual next occurrences inherit the choice. Groups can choose a default external calendar for new appointments. External changes are preserved in a conflict.

  • Local storage after sign-in restored

Zanuli 1.3.6 fixes the error that prevented Zanuli from opening local storage after sign-in. Update the existing app through the App Store; no uninstall or data clearing is needed.

In the manual:Sync, help and your dataUpdating the app and viewing new features

  • End date moves with the start

Changing an event’s start automatically moves its end, preserving the chosen duration, including one or more whole days. From Zanuli 1.3.6.

In the manual:Calendar and weekly planner

  • Weekly planner stays usable during calendar outages

From Zanuli 1.3.6, the weekly overview stays visible when one provider has an outage. Recently retrieved events may remain visible for up to five minutes, with a warning and retrieval time. Without recent data, the planner identifies the missing calendar; an empty day does not then mean nothing is planned. Zanuli retries automatically after the provider’s waiting period. Adding to an unavailable calendar is temporarily disabled; adding to Zanuli remains possible. Reconnect only if the message asks you to.

In the manual:Calendar and weekly plannerManage, repair and disconnect calendars

  • Clearer calendar overview

Connection options are at the top, followed by connected calendars. Problems appear in red; tap for an explanation and repair. Duplicate incomplete connection attempts are grouped.

In the manual:Manage, repair and disconnect calendars

  • Connect iCloud Calendar — in testing

Connect iCloud under More → Integrations → Calendars using your Apple Account email address and an app-specific password from Apple. Choose which calendar to share and whether appointments may be added. Real-account testing is still in progress. The connect button now explains missing or invalid input. Spaces around pasted details are ignored.

In the manual:Connect iCloud Calendar — in testing

  • Calendars under Integrations

Manage your calendars under More → Integrations → Calendars. See calendar names, sharing status and whether the group can add appointments. Use Manage connection to create a family calendar or disconnect.

In the manual:Manage, repair and disconnect calendars

  • Weekly planner

View tasks and appointments by week in the app and on the kitchen display. Browse weeks, open details and add appointments. Choose Tasks or Weekly planner as the default kitchen display view.

In the manual:Calendar and weekly plannerUsing the kitchen display

  • Google Calendar

Connect an existing Google calendar or create a separate family calendar. Choose which calendar to share with the group and whether appointments may be added. Google has approved the requested calendar access. You grant permission when connecting; work and school accounts may have additional organisation restrictions.

    In the manual:Connect Google Calendar

  • Voice entry from the widget

Open voice entry in Zanuli directly using the microphone button in the widget.

In the manual:Widgets and quick voice capture

  • Maintenance starter sets

Choose which maintenance tasks to add. Set a date and optionally save the maintenance company’s contact details with the task.

  • App language in your account

From build 202610082100, Zanuli saves the chosen app language with your account, including the effective system language. Changes made offline are retried later so messages can use the right language.

In the manual:Account, name and language

  • Points directly in routines and devices

You can now set default points directly when editing a routine and in Home Connect and Shelly tasks. The setting applies to the task, so you do not need to assign points separately for every occurrence.

In the manual:Default points and duplicate task namesRoutines and the More menuIntegrations: Shelly and Home Connect

  • Equivalent task names grouped clearly

Identical names and known variants appear together under Default points. You can see the tasks in each group and any differences in their points. Saving sets points for the whole group. Different rooms, devices and combined actions remain distinct; completion history and previously earned points are preserved.

In the manual:Default points and duplicate task names

  • Zanuli remembers confirmed synonyms

The group owner can link another name to confirm that it means the same task. Zanuli remembers this within your household and task type, after reopening and for tasks created later with those names. You can forget a name link without losing points. New tasks keep their own points until you save the group together. Available from Zanuli 1.3.2.

In the manual:Default points and duplicate task names

  • Clear task statistics

See recorded completions by person and task, who did them and when. Choose this week, last week, this month, a quarter or a custom period. Counts and confirmed points are shown separately so you can compare both.

In the manual:Statistics: who did what and when?

  • Default points per task

The group owner can set a default value of 1, 2 or 3 points under Statistics → Default points. This covers manual and automatic tasks and reusable follow-up steps, even without an open occurrence. New completions use the setting; previously earned points remain unchanged.

In the manual:Default points and duplicate task names

  • Updates and new features

An optional notice tells you when a newer public App Store version is available. Update opens the App Store; Later lets you continue. After installation you can view the new features once. The overview remains under More → New features, with a link to this changelog. Older apps without this notice feature receive it only after updating.
